December 2010 continued...

We get together every year with my cousins for a Christmas party and have been doing this for as long as I can remember. Now we all have our own kids it has been fun to get together and let our kids play. This year for the Frew/Brian Christmas party Santa came and surprised everyone...even the parents! My Mom and Dad and my Uncle and Aunt got together and arranged for Santa to come and give all of the kids gifts. It was so fun to hear what they each wanted and to watch their faces. These pictures are from my phone so they aren't the best...They are all listening so intently...
Brooklyn wanted a dolly...Jaxon wanted Legos...And Gabe was home sick so he didn't come... :( It was really fun and the kids had a fun time!

Every year we try to make a gingerbread house...the kit I bought made it a little easier but it still didn't look quite like the example on the package!! Here are their candy-mouthed smiles.

Next we had the Whiting Christmas party. The kids exchange gifts with their cousins and Grandma and Grandpa give all of the grandkids their home made pajamas. Everyone had a lot of fun! These pics are also from our phone...

November 2010

This catching up business takes forever!! November brought the sale of Troy's boat. We stored it in our garage for him because he and Jameson always went together. The kids mostly thought it was ours so when the day came that Troy sold it Jaxon (and Jameson) were very sad to see it go. The first snowman of the year....
Jaxon got two free Jazz tickets because he played Junior Jazz. He even made a sign to cheer them on! And our preschool class had a Thanksgiving feast!

Updates from the past 5 months :)

So part of me wanted to stop blogging altogether but I decided to keep going because it is really the best way for me to journal. I like to do digital scrapbooking but, I'm finding that it's hard to find time to do that even so if I just make a goal to post a few pictures and journal what we're doing I can print it off and have a nice journal with pictures! I figured out that it takes forever for my pictures to upload because they are such a high resolution so I might fix that too and so it's not so time consuming! Anyway...here's a few things since last post. October:

We spent a lot of time watching Jaxon play soccer...He played AYSO this year instead of city and liked it a lot better.

We got to go to Black Island Farms with Brooklyn's preschool class (I'm her teacher so it worked out). They had big slides, jump houses, animals, and a barrel ride. We also go to ride on a trailer behind a tractor out to the pumpkin patch and the kids got to pick their own pumpkin.

Our neighborhood does a halloween party just for the kids. This was the second year they have done it (I say "they" because again, I didn't do squat to help-sorry!) The kids get in groups and rotate to different houses where they do different activities. It is always so cute and so fun for the kids.

Here is Optimus Prime and Belle listening to instructions. Gabe hates dressing up and wouldn't even put on a costume this year until we finally convinced him to be a football (Steeler) player. SO he didn't dress up for the party.

Pregnancy #4 at 23 weeks.

It's been a while...WARNING this is long!

Well, it's been way too long since I posted anything and I'm becoming overwhelmed with pictures! Here's an update in pictures since May...Brooklyn in her dance recital costume with her cousin Emily. She loves dance and does pretty good.
I had to document the girl who refuses to take a nap actually getting caught falling asleep! We were looking all over for her and finally found her here. Jaxon had his last field trip of Kindergarten and they went to the zoo. Jaxon up to bat at his t-ball game. The beginning of summer... Gabe loves to play in the water! He even took time to pose for the camera. Speaking of posing...I LOVE this swim suit on her...
Again, speaking of posing..Gabe was potty trained this summer. YAY!
He did NOT want this picture..but I had to get a shot of his chubby little legs in his "underwears" as he calls them. We went on our annual trip to Heise Hot Springs. Our friends went with us for the first few days and then our family joined us for the last two. It was a lot of fun! Here we are fishing... One of the days we drove over to Bear World. I've always wanted to go there and it was pretty fun. We definitely saw a lot of bears! My three little bears... They had a fun petting zoo there and the kids loved it... Gabe really liked it until this happened...

What it didn't show was how he turned and fell in the big mud puddle behind him. It was so sad yet so funny at the same time!

The train was Brooklyn and Gabe's favorite ride. Jaxon loved the roller coaster.

We had a lot of fun!
